A World of Honest Whimsy

Z’s work is endlessly loveable. We felt content just perusing for hours.

The culmination of their choices in construction, medium, and material leaves behind a desire to live happily as an outcast who creates their own world, far from everyone elses.

Z’s work is personal. These are not oil paintings, these are not high-brow digital creations on wall-sized canvases, and these are certainly not creations of some devious marketing department. These are representations of an individual in a larger world, brought to life by ink and crayon on paper.

Their upward momentum and elaborate environments on a small scale give pride to the “smallness” of being. Let’s relish in it and remember that we’re not so large after all.
